At Invitation Publishing, we believe that strong ideas and sincere scholarship can inspire individuals and communities to lead better lives. For this reason, we actively welcome new authors, both established and emerging, who wish to contribute works on Islamic thought, spirituality, education, culture, and contemporary issues facing Muslim communities. Our aim is to nurture authors, support the development of their ideas, and help bring valuable knowledge to a wider readership. Meet Our Authors

Dr Musharraf Hussain Al Azhari OBE

He is a distinguished scholar and visionary. He is the Chief Executive of Karimia Institute (Nottingham, UK). He was born in Pakistan and settled in the UK in 1966. Dr Hussain demonstrated exceptional academic talent from a young age, memorising the Quran and learning Tajweed and Quranic Arabic. He completed a Degree in Biochemistry and a PhD before dedicating his life to serving the Muslim community. Dr Hussain’s pursuit of Islamic knowledge led him to study under renowned scholars in Pakistan and Egypt. Dr Hussain’s writings have contributed significantly to the study of Islam in contemporary society. Through his research and publications, he has explored key issues relating to the Quran, faith, identity, and the experience of Muslims in Britain and beyond.

Dr Abdul Qader Ismail

He received his medical degree and Master of Arts from the University of Oxford before training as a paediatrician with a special interest in neonatal medicine. He has a longstanding interest in research and subsequently completed a PhD at the University of Leicester. Drawing on both his academic background and his deeply rooted religious and spiritual upbringing, Dr Ismail has authored several Islamic books. He currently lives in Birmingham.

Rohail Aslam

He is an author and artist, a former teacher, and now runs his own business. He graduated from Liverpool University in the early 90’s and after several years in London, returned to his hometown of Dudley in the West Midlands. Here, he began teaching Art and English to children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. In 2015, he founded ‘ACTOV Change CIC’ to focus more on supporting parents in learning how to engage with their children.

Hafiz Muhammad Muntazir

He is a respected scholar and teacher of Islamic sciences. He studied for many years in Syria under a number of distinguished scholars, including Shaykh Ahmad Kuftaro and Shaykh Ramadan al-Buti, and graduated in Islamic Sciences from Ma’had al-Fath in Damascus. A memoriser of the Quran, he combines traditional scholarship with practical teaching experience. After coming to the UK, he served as an Islamic Studies teacher before moving into chaplaincy, where he continues to provide spiritual guidance and support to the community.

Adeem Younis

He is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and humanitarian. Born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, he studied graphic design at the University of Leeds and began his entrepreneurial journey at a young age, launching his first business while still a student. He is best known as the founder of SingleMuslim.com, one of the world’s largest Muslim matrimonial platforms, which has helped facilitate thousands of Muslim marriages worldwide. He is also the founder of the international charity Penny Appeal, an organisation delivering humanitarian aid and development projects across dozens of countries, supporting millions of people through initiatives such as orphan care, clean water, and emergency relief.

Rayhan Abbasi

He is a dedicated educator from Glasgow with a strong passion for language education and student development. Known for his compassionate and culturally sensitive approach, he adopts a student-centred teaching style that focuses on the individual needs of learners. Alongside his educational work, he is committed to Dawah and hosts a popular podcast through which he engages with contemporary issues and Islamic thought, reaching a wide and diverse audience.

Faisal Amjad

He is an entrepreneur, author, and mentor dedicated to inspiring individuals to live with purpose and make a meaningful impact. Passionate about empowering others, he helps them unlock their potential and build the mindset, skills, and confidence to thrive.

He is the founder of KNOW, an education initiative nurturing future thinkers, innovators, scientists, and creatives by guiding them to discover their purpose and maximise their contribution to society. He is also the co-founder of an organisation supporting individuals and families in building sustainable, knowledge-based ventures for both personal success and wider community impact.
